Editorial Shoot with Wiktoria

There are many reasons I chose to live in Tahoe, but the most prominent one was the proximity of so many different ecosystems in a small radius. Within an hour forest, lake, beaches, skiing, hiking, desert and city life are all accessible and within reach. It's hard to compete with and Tahoe really leaves a special imprint on people's hearts. I find it difficult to even leave this tiny town to go down the hill to buy groceries sometimes so when Wicktoria reached out about an editorial collaboration, I knew it was time to get out of my comfort zone and explore what Carson City, Nevada has to offer.
Sometimes Carson City gets a bad rap, but a little local birdie was kind enough to share some of its beauty with me and change my mind on the matter. Wicktoria, is a model and musician from Poland and when she contacted me about creating art together we both knew we wanted it to be something special. With her knowledge and Polish connections she bought clothes from Ismena Studio and mixed with my windswept style we were in collaboration Heaven.
Wicktoria brought her guitar and I had the pleasure of enjoying her music while I took photos, and was happily reminded that I photograph passions, and the things that people love and cherish most. Among some funny banter, we were also graced with one of the most amazing sunsets I've seen to date. Thank you Wicktoria for spending time with me, for reminding me of my original roots in fashion and I look forward to many more shoots in the future.
