An Unforgettable Fall Vermont Elopement
If you asked me I’d say every photography project is a dream project, but there was something so absolutely special about Ethan and Evi’s Vermont elopement. I’m very fond of elopements, the connection and intimacy of the small moments and the desire for a relaxed atmosphere focused around ease and love. I love how every detail is often chosen with so much intention and care it emanates such a specialness that cannot be forgotten.
Ethan and Evi and I all have something in common, we love to travel in a way that creates unique experiences no matter the time spent to get to the destination, usually off the grid, or hard to get to spaces but always truly unique. Within their engagement shoot, and wedding photos we made sure to truly capture all the beauty that Vermont had to offer, and the intimacy of the weekend in Woodstock was a cultural experience that connected me with the deeper story of Ethan and Evi’s relationship and to their families with the shared love that connected and welcomed the small group of 16. I felt truly special and held in this weekend and have nothing but gratitude for the friendship and honor it was to participate in their wedding.
If I have it my way, I would love to travel documenting every couple’s elopement weekend, to really understand the essence and story of what makes each couple’s love unique, to capture the small moments that we hold so tightly and to be in the unfoldment of the beginning of life-long unions. I am so grateful for the opportunity and look forward to the next journey they’re ready to document.
As you’re reading this, if you’re looking for an elopement photographer, no matter where you are, count me in. I’m always open to telling the story of you.
