Powerful Maternity Photoshoot

I had the honor of photographing Rachelle, Justin and baby Jojo at Tahoe Beach Club late June. Rachelle is a beautiful friend I've had the honor of completing my yoga teacher training with in 2020. She's deep, thoughtful, caring and magnetically warm. She and her partner Justin, spent the last few years traveling and surfing, and we have been lucky enough to have them back here settling in Tahoe again.
Prior to her shoot we discussed her excitement in embracing this new role as mother, her call toward empowering women to embrace their bodies and maintain health throughout their pregnancies and teaching yoga.
Rachelle and Justin truly embody love, and this little baby is so lucky to have two very excited parents to welcome her earth side within the next few weeks. It was easy capturing the beauty and big love already existent of the unit and it was a joy being able to have this as my first in lake session of the summer season.
