Weddings at Snowpine Lodge
Snow Pine Lodge sits at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, the oldest building in Alta dressed as the newest — a 1870s mining structure turned ski shelter, rebuilt into a 54-room luxury lodge in 2019. The spa's grotto plunge pool is set directly into the original granite. Swen's Restaurant is named for the current owners' own miner ancestor.
The Details
It's just steps from Albion Basin, one of the most celebrated wildflower basins in the state, with a lodge shuttle up for photos in peak bloom.
And the bar team will build custom cocktails around your own favorite ingredients — a detail past couples have used to make the whole night feel personal.
For weddings with kids in the mix, the lodge has real infrastructure for it: The Nest (ping-pong, pool table, arcade) and Little Nest (a ball pit) for younger guests, plus a karaoke room that's become the centerpiece of at least one couple's "family reunion" wedding weekend.
