Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer

Meet Gabrielle

Gabrielle is an editorial wedding photographer based in Salt Lake City, with years spent behind the camera learning how to see people at their most unguarded. Before Utah, home was Lake Tahoe, and before that, a childhood in Fort Collins, Colorado — an upbringing that left her with a quiet love of mountains, open sky, and the kind of light that only exists at high elevation.

She is a lover of deep red wine and good coffee, and someone who has spent years chasing that particular stillness found in yoga and slow movement. Years of travel have shaped her eclectic eye — a taste for beauty that doesn't follow one script, but borrows a little from everywhere. That same instinct shows up off the clock, too: a loaf of bread in progress, something slow simmering on the stove, art finding its way into ordinary corners of life long before it ever reaches a camera.

When she isn't photographing weddings, she's usually in the kitchen, in the park with her family and dogs and whatever sunshine the day offers, or still working on getting that bread just right. That same attention — patient, present, a little devoted — is what she brings to every wedding day.

Why Lake Tahoe

The Details

Lake Tahoe sits perfectly nestled in the Sierra Nevadas, within easy reach of both Reno and the Bay Area — close enough for guests to travel with ease, remote enough to feel like a true escape. Few places offer this kind of natural drama as a backdrop: sapphire-blue water framed by granite peaks and pine, with a stillness that makes every wedding day here feel unhurried.

Summer

Cool, refreshing days by the water, with that unmistakable blue lake as a backdrop to the entire celebration.

Winter

Skiing and alpine access bring a crisp, snow-covered romance to the mountains surrounding the lake.

Why Couples Choose Gabrielle

Fifteen years in photography and a background in fine dining shape an approach that feels relaxed, but is carefully structured underneath — service so attentive, couples never have to ask.

Every wedding is tailored from the first conversation to the smallest detail, so there's nothing left to think about on the day itself. That shows up as calm under pressure, efficient timelines, clear communication, and easy collaboration with planners and vendor teams.

By the end of the day, it feels less like hiring a photographer and more like having a friend there to celebrate it with you.

Her attention to detail is incredible, her energy is unmatched, and she brought nothing but pure hype the entire time. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and truly captured us and our day perfectly.

Gabrielle photographed both our engagement session and our wedding, and to say she exceeded our expectations would be an understatement.
